This is a thread to announce your temporary absence for whatever reason it's going to be. It can also be used if you're a member whose been here before who has been gone and recently came back.

Let "gone for a few days" be the least amount of time you would use this thread to announce. No one gives a shit if you're going out for lunch for an hour or going to sleep or even spending the next day doing something other than going on the internet. Also if you're someone who posts once a month, don't use this thread since your absence won't really be significant.

Appropriate use of this thread would be something like
- "I'm moving into a new place so it will be a week before my internet gets back up"
- "I'm going on a cruise so won't really be online for that time frame:

or

- "I used to post here back in 09, I... "

school is starting to move faster and i have one more class then i had last semester and i may not be here as much as i was because i need to focus and my focus right now is messed up. I may be gone and then i may pop in but i need to focus on my life right now.
