Relapse 2(Official Pre-Release Thread)

We hardly have any updates on the status of the album . But anyways , lets try to get together all the facts we have on the album on this thread .

Gonna Start by a Exclusive news that Just , who has produced the majority of Relapse has tweeted .

Listening to tht new relapse 2. Heatrockkks. Do ppl still say that? Oh no they say "crack"

..Sounds good doesn't it .Just Blaze is an All-Time great who has produced .

He's a legendary producer who has produced songs like "Girls, Girls, Girls" , "Song Cry" , "Show Me What You Got" , etc ,etc

Also , even though much was said about Relapse , Relapse 2 has been high on all the "Most Anticipated Albums of 2010 " lists .

Every piece in the puzzle looks in place . Relapse 2 hopefully will be great and super commercial , similar to MMLP and The Eminem Show .

50 Cent and Dr.Dre definitely .
D12 has also been confirmed.
And Wayne was recently working with Blaze and Shady obviously for the album so he's supposed to be there too.
Royce Da 9 has been confirmed in the album too.

Ok and Mr.Porter recently had given an interview on some Radio . Here's what he had to tell about Relapse 2.

- Finishing a song for his album
- Did 3 songs together, and kept 1 out of the 3, maybe 2
- Taking a break for a couple of days because of the Awards
- Also working with Ludacris
- Relapse 2 coming early 2010, Album is pretty much finished
- They changed directions for the album a couple of times
- Rumor about Interscope changing the direction is not true
- Interscope doesn't do anything with EM's music, he controles everything
- Really pleased by Relapse, every song is incredible, no fillers
- This album is Eminem thinking in the right mindstate
- Original direction was going to be all Dre production
- Now it's Denaun, Just Blaze, Dre, Eminem, Alchemist production and more
- The songs remind him of the feeling of a Marshall Mathers LP
- If you're an Eminem fan you will love this album
- The Denaun and Eminem track is like bullets flying past ur head... its so many punchlines and the Eminem people have missed over the years.
- Content on the album is variety, serious content, some content that people never heard from him, very well balanced album. Probably most balanced album since the MMLP.
- A lot of punchlines, clear minded Eminem.
- Not a lot of Quaky music, no songs like The Real Slim Shady.
- Royce Da 5'9 is on the album

Umm i only know that INsult to INjury is on there, and that was kind of the only rumor i heard, i really got freaked out when i found some star warsys kind of song they were saying was a beat but i don' think it was.

I do not like to listen to what everyone always says either because truly, everyone has their own agenda in this industry. I sit back and think alot before i say something. It was a very big thing for the Alchemist to be featured so much because he does make clever beats. If Insult to Injury's time has passed, then it has. I assume we will be given a hint. Eminem always gives us hints.

Well , he said nothing in the Complex Interview , but I think even if there are no serial killer songs on Relapse 2 , ITI might make it , or maybe they have recorded the song again with some better post -Relapse Eminem lyrics

i think there will be serial killer songs as he cant just talk about the same thing the whole album, he will need a variety of subjects. guess we will have to wait an see.. maybe thats whats taking so long, the fact that he is re-writing lyrics to have a more up to date shady

yeah , probably , because Kon said it's gonna be the most balanced Shady album since The MMLP . If Eminem though serial killer songs like Elevator , Music Box weren't good enough for Relapse 2 , think about the stuff the album will have .

lol you guys r not going to believe this but i will tell you anyways.
I have a boy in my accounting class his name is Danny.
He came from Detroit, yesterday we were both in the same cab together and we got to school i asked him if he was working on his group project because his partner is a dick fuck. Ne ways so we start talking about Eminem, and we are going threw the albums and he was like "i used to drive by his house"
Apparently Eminem has two houses in the Detriot area, and Danny and his buddies used to drive to the house blasting eminem, one day the blue chevie stalls and the guard walks out wearing a Obie Trice T-shirt and is like "whats going on" and the dude that was with Danny was like
"does slimshady live here really???" lololol Danny got the car to run and they took off. HA HA HA HA!!!
I was like NO WAY DANNY!! I said you gotta listen to Elevator Eminem put an eleveator in his house cuz u guys did that.
See Danny doesn't understand this new Eminem.

I will predict he will have some mature lyrics i am hoping he attacks some social inequailties but from other perspectives then a poor white boy that had an abusive mother, like Lil Wayne did in the song Fuck Today where he used the Band Ministary and the song Lies Lies Lies as his inspiration.

So much Auto-Tune makes my ears bleed , I don't hate Little Wayne , I bought his IInd last album but Rebirth is really terrible . And Eminem having the best verse on the album is only bad noise for Wayne , good for the album though . I mean Eminem recently made a comeback and he's overshadowing the person who many people refer to as the Best Rapper Alive
