I was a green day fan until the last two albums, idk these guys anymore, idk what they are talking about, writing for, any of it. They changed, and i wasn't rollin with their changes, doesn't mean they are not good, i just don't like the new music or look. I liked the guys that were thinking Goood God if that is normal i will never fit in!!! So here are my favorite Green day songs! Basket Case www.youtube.com/watch?v=hitMpM-P-BsWhen I come around www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8dh9gDzmz8Good Riddence www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnQ8N1KacJc&feature=channelIt's something unpredictable, but in the end its right, i hope YOU had the TIME of your LIFE they were so punk now they are like this emo group of people idk :/

correction...when Dookie came out..Alot of punk fans were like WTF..this aint punk..and Mike Drint said in a interview recently that even he knows that they've never had a loyal Punk fan base...anyways....
Jesus of Suburbia not being on your list feels weird..Basket case is great..When I come around is OK..Good Riddance surely one of their greatest...
will give my list soon...
and well...some of their songs can be considered emo..but i think American Idiot is the reason most of the people actually know about Green Day...plus..if you've heard 21stCB..there are lots of songs which can be considered Punk..eg..Christian;s Inferno

alright i will be waiting for your picks. I learned about GD from Dookie, so perhaps their look and their music were contradictory. I think alot of fans feel this way about many artists that have a long career. Sometimes they leave some people behind that don't want them to change because they don't change themselves.
